Dogs

A busy sheep farm can never be without a sheepdog!!  Jam is our working border collie bitch from Dave Sykes 'Fairfield' kennels at Bardney.  She has proven to be invaluable on the farm and i dont know how i managed without her!! Jam had pups in 2008 to Sue Littles 'Brad' and they were fantastic pups, now working and very stylish. We hope to repeat the mating in the near future so watch this space.

 

Purdey is our black working labrador who doesn't get out to work as often as she'd like and is happiest out picking up ( even if she is meant to be beating!!). 

 

...and she now has a new best friend Jazz who we have recently rehomed.  She is still a bit of a 'towny' but has all the makings of a great gundog and is enjoying every minute on the farm!

Nelly makes up the tribe!! Another rehomed dog,she is a three year old English Pointer who is great with the kids but difficult to contain!! Being a typical pointer she puts her nose down a off she goes, she can also clear any fence out there.
